Iberia Airlines has signed a collaboration agreement with the Japan-Spain Business Circle (CEJE), a platform that promotes socioeconomic exchange between companies in the two countries. Mr. Víctor Moneo, Spanish Sales Director for Iberia and Mr. Santiago Escuder, Eastern Regional Business Manager for Iberia, and the chairman of CEJE, Mr. Jorge Lasheras, formalized this agreement, under which the Spanish airline will join the association as a Patron Member.
This initiative reinforces the policy instituted by the airline, to re-connect Spain and Japan. Following an absence of 18 years, in October of 2016 Iberia resumed direct flights from Madrid to the Japanese capital, together with excellent connections to Barcelona.
